He can mobilise on the leg and cannot recall any trauma, although was riding a jet-ski on the sea on the day prior to presentation. He is an insulin dependent diabetic. Vitals are as follows : T 38.5 HR 110 BP 100/70 There are no visible wounds on his leg and X-ray does not demonstrate any bony injury.
