Case: Unwell neonate

An 8-day-old neonate is brought to the ED by concerned parents. Over the last 48 hours she has become increasingly drowsy with poor feeding. Today she had a pale, floppy episode following a small mucous vomit. She is now pale but crying and moving. She was born at term without complications. Two older siblings currently have a mild viral illness. Initial observations: HR 140, BP 102/90, Sats 100%, RR 80, BGL 7.5
