Case: Pelvic inflammatory disease

A 23-year-old female presents to ED with 3 days of lower abdominal pain and malodorous vaginal discharge. She reports to have been recently sexually active with different sexual partners without barrier protection. She also describes pain on urination and fevers overnight. Vitals are : HR 120, BP 110/75, RR 14, Sats 98% RA, Temp 38.7
