Case: Hot after intubation
Approximately 45 minutes ago you intubated a 25-year-old male with suxamethonium and propofol in your ED. His nurse has become concerned and asks you to review him. You note that his ETCO2 has jumped to 65, his temp has risen from 37 to 39.5Β°C. He is hypertensive and tachycardic.
