Case: Acute rheumatic fever
You are asked to see a 19-year-old indigenous male in fast track who has presented to the Emergency Department complaining of joint pain and fever. He has a polyarthritis with involvement of bilateral knees, ankles and wrists. You suspect he may have rheumatic fever. Observations are as follows :
