Case: Acute aortic dissection

A 28-year-old man is BIBA to your tertiary with sudden onset severe tearing chest pain radiating through to his back which started an hour ago at rest. He is a triage Cat 2 to your resus bay. On examination he is distressed with pain and diaphoretic. Vitals as follows : HR 125 BP 160/90 RR 28 Sats 96%RA T 36.5
